First part
I come from a poor Italian immigrant family, my mother is of Greek descent, and my father is of Apulian origins.
From my childhood I only remember poverty, I am the second born, and I remember that my parents gave us boiled potatoes and onion to eat, there was no money, and the difficulties in those years were many.
My father, who came from a family of Italian tailors, who handed down this art from generation to generation, tried to set up his own business, were the 80s, and in Italy they were the golden years of the economy.
He was very successful with his work, and things for our family started to get better and better.

I have not studied, to be more precise I have only done compulsory schooling, which until my time was up to the eighth grade.
After the study, there were not many choices, or you continued to study by enrolling in high school, or you went to work.
I obviously opted for work, studying it was not for me, I liked working, creating, which is why, without the possibility of opposing it, my father simply told me: “from tomorrow you are in the laboratory to work” and so I did.
It was not at all easy, as I was a rebellious son who did not like rules and impositions.
I had a very stormy childhood, which is why, at some point, my father turned me away from Italy, so that I could better understand some things in life.
I was 15, and I found myself in America without even knowing the English language, it was really difficult …
